I’m one of those people that starts to get freaked out if I can’t find the information that I need. There’s nothing worse than knowing that you’ve got that serial number, or that registration code somewhere but you just can’t remember what you did with it.
It’s right about then that I start looking like this.
So I’ve always been on the lookout for a program for storing all my notes in a way I liked. For the past few years I’d relied on the directory tree-type note programs, first with Keynote, and then later with WinOrganizer. There are some things I like about programs like these, but other things I’m not so fond of.
Anyway, one day I stumbled on Microsoft’s OneNote, which is part of their stealth marketing plan apparently. Everybody’s heard of Word and Excel, but I’d never heard of OneNote before. I’ve been working with it for a few months now, and am pretty much liking it. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, there’s a free 60 day trial.
