In a previous post, I mentioned that I’d taken a lot of photos at the 2006 E3. It may have been a good thing, at least from a geeky-historic standpoint, because it could well be that E3, as we know it, is over.
It’s been announced that the ’07 and future E3′s will be greatly downsized. “The Entertainment Software Association has confirmed reports that its Electronic Entertainment Expo will be undergoing big changes for next year. According to the trade group, the convention will be “evolving into a more intimate event focused on targeted, personalized meetings and activities.”
Translation: Booth Babe Party Time is a thing of the past. (sniff)
